Managing Depression (8 Week Programme)
We all feel low at some point in life, however, if the low mood lasts longer than usual to an extent that you struggle to get out of bed in the morning or get on with your daily activities then you need to learn the patterns that can help you to lift your mood.
An example of thoughts of a depressed person:
“I feel tired most of the time, I have no interest or motivation to do anything, I get nothing done, I feel like crying most of the time, I have withdrawn from all my friends and I am lonely, sometimes, it gets so dark that I feel like not wanting to be here”
The therapy group is aimed at equipping you with the knowledge and skills you need to manage the depressive symptoms. You will also gain an understanding of the maintenance factors plus techniques on how to overcome them.
The group runs for once a week, for one hour (9:30 -10:30) for a period of 8 weeks
Start Date: On-going – Saturdays at 9:30
Cost: £15 per group session
Make a once off payment of £85 and SAVE £35 ( Approx. £10.63 per session)
