Overcoming anxiety ( 8 Weeks Programme)
Anxiety is a term used to describe feelings of unease, worry, and fear. It incorporates both the emotions and the physical sensations we might experience when we are worried or nervous about something. Although we usually find it unpleasant, anxiety is related to the ‘fight or flight’ response which is our normal biological reaction to feeling threatened. However, when we feel overly anxious and this affects our daily functioning then we need to seek help.
In this therapy group, you will get an understanding of the causes of anxiety, the maintenance factors, and their effects. You will also learn ways in which you can manage your worry and fears.
The group runs once a week, for one hour (11:00 – 12:00) over a period of 8 weeks
Start Date: On-going – Saturdays at 11:00
Cost: £15 per group session
Make a once off payment of £85 and SAVE £35 (Approx. £10.63 per session)
